FOUR ELEMENTS - SCROLL STYLE

The ancient Greeks believed that there were four elements that everything was made up of: earthwater, air, and fire. The idea that these four elements made up all matter was the cornerstone of philosophy, science, and medicine for two thousand years. The four elements were even used to described the four temperaments a person could have, and Hippocrates used the four elements to describe the four “humors” found in the body.

Bring a touch of the ancient philosophy to your home with the Four Elements set - featuring a symbol for each of the four elements in each of our luxury wood finishes.

  • Earth - Walnut
  • Air - Maple
  • Fire - Painted Black Oak
  • Water - Oak

Made from our sustainable sourced, high quality 6mm thick Maple, Oak, Walnut and Painted Black Oak veneer.
Please note: as we are working with natural materials, the grain and shade of the wood may vary from that shown in the pictures, and from piece to piece.

  • 20cm (7.9") high
  • 30cm (11.8") high
  • 45cm (17.7") high
  • 60cm (23.6") high

The size refers to the height/diameter of each separate element.

Customisable

We can also make the elements in a different mix of wood types if you would prefer - e.g. two black and two oak, or all walnut etc. Just leave a note when you order to say if you would like anything different. If no note is left, we will assume that you would like the pieces in the wood options stated (as per the photos).

Mounting

We provide some strong 3M removable double-sided tape and some wall tacks, which we find is a simple and quick solution for mounting the items on a wall. You can choose to use any other mounting technique if you prefer. We do not take any responsibility for the way you mount our pieces to surfaces.
